Retail Server/Barista
Rate of Pay - $16-$20/hr
The Retail Server and Barista is responsible for ensuring every customer has the best experience possible while visiting the bakery. Tasks include assisting customers with special orders, preparing coffee and espresso beverages, answering general questions about products, and regularly completing purchase transactions. Ideal candidates have at least two years of customer service experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment. Experience working with espresso and coffee beverages preferred. Must be able to handle regular purchase transactions with cash, credit, check and gift cards. Must have a warm and bright personality and truly enjoy serving customers. This position also requires the ability to stand for the entire shift as well as regular lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. The ability to lift 50 lbs regularly required. Weekend and holiday availability required. Full-time and part-time, year round positions available.
Prep Baker
Our prep team helps with the daily prep and production of all the delicious goodies and treats. Responsibilities may include making and scooping cookie dough, filling macaroons, preparing scones and muffins, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, and other duties as assigned. Ideal candidates have some kitchen or stewarding experience in a high-volume food and beverage establishment. This is a physically demanding position that includes early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays. Year-round positions available.
Bread Baker
As a bread baker you'll assist with all bread production for Sift and Mix. Ideal candidates have a degree in baking and pastry from an established culinary school and at least one year of experience working in a high-volume kitchen. This is a physically demanding position that includes early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays. Year-round positions available.
YOUNG BUNS DOUGHNUTS MYSTIC, CT
Retail Server/Barista

Tasks include assisting customers with special orders, preparing coffee and espresso beverages, answering general questions about products, and regularly completing purchase transactions. Ideal candidates have at least two years of customer service experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment. Experience working with espresso and coffee beverages preferred. Must be able to handle regular purchase transactions with cash, credit, check and gift cards. Must have a warm and bright personality and truly enjoy serving customers. Production Baker
The Production Baker is responsible for prepping doughnuts, doughnuts holes, and doughnut cakes while ensuring the kitchen and workplace are maintained, cleaned, and in line with food safety procedures. The ideal candidate comes with at least a year of experience working in a high-volume kitchen, experience with doughnut production is a plus! The ability to lift 50 lbs regularly required. This is a physically demanding position that includes weekends, and holidays. Third shift hours, full-time opportunity available.
MIX ROOFTOP AT SIFT MYSTIC, CT
Bartender
Rate of Pay: $12/hr + gratuity
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and crafting unique cocktails according to the service and facility standards of MIX. Responsibilities include confirming customer ID, preparing drinks according to Mix recipes, and completing opening and closing duties. This position requires at least two years of experience working as a Bartender in a similar food and beverage operation and the ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.
Line Cook
Line Cooks are responsible for the preparation of menu items according to Mix standards ensuring quality and consistency at all times. Additional responsibilities include working effectively with fellow culinary employees during service and communicating well with the front-of-house positions to ensure streamlined service and all guest requests are accommodated. Two years' experience in a high-volume establishment is required. Culinary degree preferred. The ability to work with high-quality, local ingredients is required, as well as the ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Food Runner/Busser
The food runner is responsible for supporting the bartender and servers throughout lunch and dinner service while ensuring the guest service and facility standards of MIX are followed. Responsibilities include preparing tables, polishing silverware and glassware, clearing tables, cleaning the restaurant as is necessary, and performing opening and closing tasks as well as side work. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.
Restaurant Server
Rate of Pay: $6.38/hr + gratuity
Servers are responsible for delivering a warm and friendly guest experience. Responsibilities include checking guest ID's, accurately and efficiently collecting guest orders as well as placing them into the Point of Sale (POS), following appropriate steps of service, and performing opening and closing tasks. The ability to work on your feet for the entirety of the shift is required. A warm, welcoming personality is required as well as at least two years of experience in a similar serving position. Nights, weekends, and holidays required.
